Free agents
When a player is available as a free agent under the league rules, a manager can add that player and make the required roster move.
Waiver claims
Players on waivers are claimed through the waiver process rather than immediately added. If multiple managers claim the same player, the configured waiver system determines the winner.
Priority waivers
Priority-based systems award claims according to the league priority order. The way that order changes after a successful claim depends on the commissioner configuration.
FAAB
In a FAAB league, managers submit a bid from their available budget. The highest valid bid wins when waivers process, subject to any configured tie-break rules.
